Abbot Book Festival: May 11, 2024

The inaugural Abbot Book Festival will take place at the OWHL on Saturday, May 11th, 2024, from 12-4PM. The Abbot Book Festival invites all Phillips Academy community members to consider the conversation between two chosen books, and explore creative expression and engage with others’ ideas.

The chosen books this year are Binti by Nnedi Okorafor, and The Disordered Cosmos by Chanda Prescod-Weinstein. Our exciting offerings this year include food trucks, t-shirt making, zine making, button making, and other activity tables, along with engaging performances, workshops and panels.

Schedule forthcoming.

Thank you to the following for their generous contributions to the festival: The Abbot Academy Fund, the Office of the Head of School, and the Department of the Dean of Studies.
