TEDxPA Breaking Barriers

The OWHL and the POLK will host a TEDx Event on February 14, 2025 in which PA students will showcase a topic they are passionate about with the PA community and recorded to be shared with TED to be viewed worldwide.

This year’s theme for the event is “Breaking Barriers” and we encourage all PA students to apply to participate. If you are interested, an information session will take place October 18th from 12:10-1:25pm in the Freeman Room. The application deadline for participation is October 25th at 10pm. The theme “Breaking Barriers” should lightly guide your talk, but is meant to be loosely interpreted and unpacked. We welcome your unique, thought-provoking, fun, and inspiring ideas!

All TEDx Events are fully planned independently by community members without TED. The TEDx_Phillips Academy organizing committee includes team members from the OWHL, the Polk; the OWHL Student Advisory Board; former TEDx_PA presenters; and other faculty and staff partners across campus.
