Andover Authors
The OWHL actively collects published works by alumni of Phillips Academy and Abbot Academy. Each book is physically labeled with a bright blue “A” sticker on the spine and the graduating year, indicating that it is a part of the “Andover Authors” Collection. At reunion time each year, bibliographies are prepared of the books written by members of the reunion classes.
The Andover Authors Collection is organized according to graduation year. If you are looking for the works of a particular Andover Author and are unsure of their class year, please ask a librarian at the Welcome Desk. Some of the books in the Andover Authors Collection are under the care of the Archivist. Those books are noted as “Special Collections” in the OWHL’s online catalog. You can contact the Archives and Special Collections directly to arrange access.
